We had an afp meet on Saturday for people who can't come to the wedding, but we didn't organise it very well. Half the people there didn't actually know about the wedding! switchbit came to stay for the whole weekend and finish Nattie's dress and corset, which look fantastic on her.

Today we managed to meet up with the hotel manager again, and sorted out some details of the reception. We negotiated buffet items and tasted the house wines so we could decide which to have served. The promised phone line for an Internet connection turned out to be charged at 'not much more than the normal rate' and then at '50p per minute' so I'm going to have to try using my mobile instead. Dealing this woman is getting a little bit annoying.

I have my first interview tomorrow (well, today), by phone, at 2. I don't know whether I want this job, as it's in London, but I'm giving it a shot anyway.

I'm so glad you both like it. I want your wedding to be a special magical day and I hope I've helped to contribute to that. I'm sorry I can't be there to see you tie the knot..
