I wasn't sure whether Nattie would be able to leave home after all, and I was unable to contact her in the two days before she was due to come. Finally she phoned me from Philadelphia in between connecting flights. The next morning we were happily reunited at Gatwick airport.

The week since then has been wonderful, but fairly busy. On Friday we celebrated my birthday and watched FoTR. On Saturday we went to the National Gallery (where we met up with my parents), Royal Festival Hall, and a meeting of strange Speccy people in Docklands. Today we finally got the chest of drawers.

Nattie got all the week's dinners organised, and we are becoming frighteningly domestic.

Have you seen you and Nattie in action(no. *not* *that* kind of action... geez, what do you take me for?)? Of course you two are frighteningly domestic. Anyway, happy she's safe and sound and there.
