How did you manage to get the Isle of Wight whilst missing Hampshire?

And which set of county boundaries is this -- ancient, 1974, or modern?... I see Rutland, so it's not 1974... and I don't think it's ancient, since I don't see Westmorland.

I only counted counties that I've stopped in, not ones that I've merely passed through. The counties shown are administrative (modern) counties; Rutland regained a county council as part of the local government reforms that introduced unitary authorities.

I thought on first glance that this was a quiz with the outcome answering the never-uttered question of "which county am I?" Should someone find enough differentiating aspects to identify each's essence and produce such a quiz, I'd be thoroughly impressed.
