Breakdancing revival

We just found another maybug in the kitchen. soubrette tried to pick it up on the end of a pen but inadvertently tipped it over. Much to my amusement, it started breakdancing. Sorry, no pictures. I caught it in an empty paté tub and tipped it out the window.

Ah, so that's what a cockchafer looks like. We debated this when it appeared in a song in Cox & Box. One of the cast reckoned it was a nickname for a now-obsolete style of trouser.

The first time we encountered a maybug was much more entertaining (in retrospect) - since we didn't know what it was, and it is a fairly large and hideous insect, I for one screamed, and Ben wouldn't deal with it until he knew what it was. Hurrah for usenet for supplying an answer fairly quickly!
