I took the job and have now had a week of work. Well, 4 days, as I was unwell on Thursday night and feeble on Friday. It's a bit different from previous jobs - I don't think anyone has had much commercial development experience and I might actually have seniority in that respect. The working practices seem a bit too casual for my liking - I now know the value of repeatable processes and want to make them happen here, for the sake of my own sanity if nothing else! Well, I'll see what happens.
