According to the letter I got yesterday, I am now sponsoring this girl called Charity Mago in Zimbabwe. I should be writing a letter to her soon. What should I say? She's only 3 (nearly 4) and she lives in a far-away country in fairly dire poverty (which is why she and others in her community are getting sponsorship). The information I got from WorldVision should help me a bit, but this is going to be a challenge.

I discovered that NTL has the extra Film Four channels - Film Four World (foreign films), Film Four Extreme (weird stuff?), and Film Four 1 (main channel delayed by an hour) - which I thought were only available on Sky Digital. This is going to make it a bit easier for me to recover from missing the beginning of a film and to avoid programme clashes. Right now I'm taping The Seven Samurai which I missed during the week.
